In 1999 the Animal Medical Centre on Hillylaid Road in Thornton was brought by local vets Mark and Michelle Lingard and became Moy Vets Thornton. Norcross Vets was originally named Milne and Shine, and was owned by Andrew Milne and Garrett Shine. The practice outgrew the building on Blackpool Old Road and they moved into the new purpose-built premises on Norcross Lane. Both practices joined the IVC Evidensia family several years ago and then in November 2023 they both merged to form Moy Vets Norcross and Moy Vets Hambleton with the closure of the site in Thornton.

Moy Vets Hambleton was purpose-built to accommodate the growing demand at the previous site in Out Rawcliffe, where Mark and Michelle first opened the Moy Vets doors, supporting the over Wyre community with veterinary care.

The practice has maintained its ethos of treating patients and owners with respect, and understanding and providing compassion since its inception. We understand how important your pets are to you and we appreciate the place they hold in your family. This is why we strive to provide the best possible care and advice to all of our pet owners, mixing quality, compassion, and huge amounts of pride in our work and outcomes.

Our team is our greatest asset. While the facilities, equipment, and availability of veterinary attention are important, it is our team that makes us so special. We actively seek to improve patient care and our customer service, attending regular training to further develop our skills. We also hold weekly meetings to discuss training and practice updates, to ensure that you and your pet receive the highest quality of care.
