Kim

Hi My name is Kim. I’ve been working at Moy Vets since March 2015 and I am really enjoying my role as a Receptionist. It is great to be part of wonderful team, who are amazing with all of our animal clients. No two days are the same, and greeting and meeting all creatures great and small is the best bit of all.

I live locally in Catterall, Garstang, having moved back to the area in 2010 after living and working abroad for approx 10 years. When I left the UK for The Netherlands, I took along, 2 dogs, 1 cat and 5 birds, which was an experience in itself, and after five years living in Dordrecht, The Netherlands, I moved everyone across to Bologna in Italy. Ten years later, I returned from Italy with one of my original dogs, Kasper, and a new addition to the family, a black Phalene – Volpino Italiano (Italian Fox) called Kelsina. Kasper is no longer with me, but I still have Kelsina and another addition to the family, a gorgeous, but cheeky Cavalier King Charles Spaniel called Ruby.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my two sons and new granddaughter, who was born August 2016, Andrew, my eldest son, who still lives in the Netherlands, along with my granddaughter Evelyn, and Stephen, who lives in Cumbria. When not at work, I am busy, gardening, walking my dogs, reading, cross-stitching and I am an avid puzzler.
