Best of Breed
A brainy Boston Terrier has set tails wagging at this year's Crufts.
Nineteen month old Betty proved every dog has its day after walking away with the prestigious Best of Breed award. She was one of 26,000 dogs taking part in the annual event at Birmingham's NEC, presented by the Kennel Club.
Owner Rosemary Rostron-Parker, fought off competition from 136 other terriers to scoop the coveted prize before going on to compete for Best in Group.
Rosemary, of Lawsons Road, Thornton, said: "I was so proud of her, the main arena is so big, and she looked so small compard to some of the other dogs. I was delighted she won her class. I had a wonderful day in Birmingham and all of my family came along too."
Rosemary, a civil servant, started out training horses and show ponies before entering her first dog Harry into competition six years ago.
VERY WELL DONE ROSEMARY AND BETTY!!!
